Polio virus continues to exist in environmental samples across Pakistan.
According to the National Institute of Health Islamabad, the presence of polio virus has been revealed in the sewage water of Pakistan.
According to officials, polio virus 1 was found in the environmental sample of Bannu, this is the eleventh positive sample found in Bannu this year and the 37th positive sample across Pakistan.
Also in the month of November, polio virus was found in the sewage samples of Peshawar and Faisalabad.
According to the authorities, 20 cases of polio have been reported in Pakistan so far.
